Un-Disappearing is an independent web publication launched in September 2025 by Katherine Hawkins.

Katherine Hawkins is a senior legal analyst at the Constitution Project of the Project On Government Oversight (POGO).

There is overlap in the subject matter of her posts here and her work for POGO, and she will strive to uphold POGO's standards of rigorous accuracy and non-partisanship. However, posts published solely on this site do not necessarily reflect the institutional stances or consensus positions of her employer. They have not been through POGO's editorial and fact checking process, in the interest of reacting quickly to breaking news and assisting others with research in a timely way.
